No More Puppies
It is with great regret that I, Granny Ophelia, announce that I have retired from breeding my Fabulous Grandpuppies at least for a while due to loss of my beloved husband, partner, and Best Friend Daddy Gary. Gary died suddenly of a massive heart attack upon our return from vacation in the Wonderful Dominican Republic July 29, 2010. Blessedly he went to heaven peacefully in his sleep with absolutely no pain.
Without my Gary I could not go on. I was blessed to be able to re-home most of our Mommies with a lovely couple in North Mississippi, Brandi and Ken Stevens of PefectPet.com. Gary and I both loved Brandi and Ken instantly when we got our youngest girl, Sammy from them just last June. We were both taken by both their love for each other as well as their desire to breed the very best German Shepherd puppies. As for me I have followed the dream I shared with Gary to move to the Wonderful Dominican Republic. I am blessed to know exactly what Gary wanted as we spent many hours planning our move to the DR. We had even discussed very recently extensively which dogs would move with us, and which would have to be rehomed. With me are Grand Duke Finn Tin Tin White King, a one year old October 13, 2010 Lady Shasta of Leerburg and Captain Tripp solid white puppy. Finn was our hope to replace Tripp as our stud dog. So far he does not disappoint. He is Big, Beautiful, and as Smart and Gentle as his father. Here too is Grand Lady Chantilly Lace. Lacey, a proven producer of outstanding puppies is also solid white and as sweet as she can be. Rounding out my little family here is Grand Lady Samantha Jones. Sammy, as we called her, was Gary our hope for the future of our breeding program. Though still only a puppy, Sammy is growing into a Beautiful, Big girl or Nina as they say here.
Captain Tripp has retired and lives with our daughter Julie in Mississippi where he helps her with her university studies and ROTC Physical Fitness Training daily. To keep Julie and Tripp company is Lady Shasta of Leerburg, Finn's mother.
